Remote File Posting
Our free hosting package restricts the
posting of files on external sites.
For example, you could not post an
image from your site into an online
auction site... the image would not
appear. The reason for the restriction
is simple: For us to recover costs of
bandwidth and storage for files like
that graphic, we must, for FREE sites,
display banners. As it is not possible
to display banners outside of your
FREE webspace, we restrict the posting
of direct links to individual files in
your webspace.
An alternative would be to link to a
page within your site that displays a
link to the file or photo you would
like someone to see. A better option
would be to simply upgrade to one of
our Premium Hosting Services. With
each of our paid packages, you can
post your images outside your Webspace
and be assured they will appear
properly.
